Marine Corps Surplus APECS Gore-Tex Parka Condition Guide
These military surplus USMC Woodland MARPAT Parkas were previously issued to US Marine Corps personnel. The contract/size tags have been removed prior to sale for the civilian market.
New #2: These grade-2 MARPAT parkas are in new, unissued condition but have some sort of defect. One of the interior chest pockets was removed. This does not effect the jacket as far as warmth, or ability to repel water. Besides this these jackets are in brand new condition. Other defects may include dirt, or missing tags. #2 parkas in excellent condition.
Used-Good: These Marine Corps parkas are in good condition. They may have surplus dust and dirt, small stains, or other cosmetic blemishes.
Used-Acceptable: The inside seam tape is peeling and flaking off . May have small hole that will not impact the use of jacket. In addition, These parkas may have similar blemishes to those in good condition.
CIF-Damaged: These APECS Gore-Tex parkas are damaged in some way and are no longer waterproof. Most will have small holes or Gore-Tex lining that is pealing. They’re great for CIF turn-in or possibly repaired.
