U.S. Army’s Combat Uniform (ACU), the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP, also known as ACUPAT or “digicam”), was developed as a “universal camouflage” that works equally well in all environments, regardless desert, woodland/jungle or urban. It’s excellent for hunting and wildlife viewing / photography.
This multipurpose poncho has many uses: rain garment, ground sheet, tarp, blanket, sleeping bag cover, and emergency shelter. Snap the long edges together to make a sleeping bag (bivy) cover. Snap two ponchos together as side walls to make a tent. A third poncho can be used as a floor. Two open tents will go end to end with a common center pole.
