Description
The USGI OG-507 Utility Shirt is a Cold War-era classic known for its durability, simplicity, and timeless military styling. Officially introduced around 1975, the OG-507 replaced the earlier OG-107 fatigue shirt and was the final evolution in the long-running OG utility uniform lineage. Its introduction marked a shift to a 50/50 polyester-cotton blend that greatly improved durability and ease of care over the all-cotton predecessors. These shirts remained in service until the early 1980s when they were replaced by the woodland-pattern Battle Dress Uniform (BDU).
Each shirt features a full button-up front, dual chest pockets with button flaps, and adjustable buttoned sleeve cuffs. Designed for garrison and utility use, it provides a rugged work shirt silhouette that’s equally suitable for wear in the field or around town.
Whether you’re a collector of military uniforms, a reenactor looking for historical accuracy, or just someone who appreciates old-school military style, the OG-507 Utility Shirt delivers history, quality, and wearability at an unmatched value.
These OG-507s are new, unissued old stock. They may vary slightly in color

OG-507 Utility Shirt Size Guide
Unlike modern military uniforms that use chest and height-based sizing, OG-507 shirts use traditional measurements based on neck circumference and sleeve length. This method, similar to men’s dress shirt sizing, ensures a tailored fit when properly measured.
